What to expect from the Syracuse Sand Dunes Park We are all exited about the progress that has been made at the park in the last 9 months. You can expect twenty to fifty riders on a nice weekend, at least that has been the average over the last few months. The Bath Rooms/Showers are open 4-26-2008. Photos The Pond has had major cleanup and is looking good. Construction has started on the designated camping sites with hook ups. They will be located on the south side of the pond. Sand conditions: There are large open areas of sand. There is still some grass and weeds in other areas. Due to a dry winter they are clearing off fast. The area west of the pond is open for camping and parking. However, at this time there is no designated dry camp sites, so make yourself at home and watch for soft spots. Cost for camping ?
